The magician gives the spectator his keys (or a spike) and three cups. While the magician is blind folded and turned around, the spectator is supposed to put the keys under one of the three cups and line the three cups up so the magician can't tell which cup the key's are in. The magician then gets his or the spectators hand, waves it over the cup, while still blind folded. The magician then somehow smashes the two plastic cups down which did not contain the keys. The cups were not seen through either!
This has been performed by Criss Angel on Oprah where Criss used a Spike instead of keys, (I advise not doing this until practiced a lot with keys.) A Spike or Keys will both work for this method.
